The hotel has established a reputation for providing a warm- and friendly 'home from home' atmosphere offering comfortable surroundings, good and wholesome home cooked food and informal, but personal, service.
Recently we have rearranged the bar into a bar-lounge. The area has been divided into two with low volume 70s 80s and 90s music playing in the background. The bar is furnished with leather chairs and settees with accompanying tables. The other side of the bar has tall tables and bar stools creating a slower quieter environment where food and conversation can be enjoyed.
We have a very good Italian restaurant, Franco's, and sample menus will be appearing on this web site soon. Franco our chef is excellent and has already transformed the restaurant with his marvelous Italian food. We have an Italian cocktail ice cream display and menu to complement our restaurant and Esspresso bar.
Sunday lunch is very good and we use sirloin of beef for the roast. Our meats and steaks are some of the best in the county! Please book early to avoid disappointment as we are frequently full!
Breakfast is offered between 7.00 and 10.00 (weekends 8.00 to 10.00) so there's no rush to get up early if you prefer a lie-in!
We are both child and pet friendly.
